Our guides:

We know just how important the guide is in making your trip special. Andes Immersion’s guides are some of the best in the region, chosen for their professionalism and ability to communicate their passion for the Andes and our country. All have many years of experience and they speak good English, hold degrees in tourism, are trained in first aid, and are fully licensed to work as official English-speaking tour guides. Our guides are well versed in the natural and cultural history of The Andes and Peru, personable people to spend time with. You will begin your trip with your guide and end your trip with a lifelong friend!

If there are any specific traits we encourage in our guiding staff, it is local knowledge coupled with effective leadership. We understand that good leadership translates into a successful and safe experiences in an outdoor environment.

Our cooks:

Andes Immersion chefs are just the best! They are well-trained in food hygiene and will amaze you with the delicious meals they prepare, even in the most remote of campsites.
If you have special dietary requirements, Andes Immersion Chefs are happy to cater to your needs, including vegetarian, dairy-free, or vegan meals. Please let us know of any dietary needs at time of booking.
Our porters: The professionals will take down camp and speed past you carrying all your luggage and camping equipment. When you arrive to a campsite in yet another stunning location, you will find it all set up and wonder how they manage to do it.

Drivers and transportation service:

Our drivers are professional, licensed drivers in the tourism industry. All of the buses, vans and cars used in our services are fully reliable and comply with Peruvian safety and insurance regulations. The transportation service assigned to each trip is adapted to the route and the group size.
