This Machu Picchu Tour 2 days allows you to spend more time and enjoy the beautiful town of Aguas Calientes and exploring and walking some streets or trails and have enough time in Machupicchu before the crowds and appreciate this amazing tour of the Lost City of Machu Picchu with a private guide. Whether you want to visit Machu Picchu and appreciate the beauty and history from the comfort of a train coach.

Private Services: These tour are arranged just for you and your party and offer the possibility to choose the departure date, the group size and the duration of the tour. This not only has the advantage of adapting the pace to your physical condition, but also usually means enjoying quieter tours, less travelers along the route and most important, not many shopping stops!

Detailed Itinerary:

Day 01: Cusco – Ollantaytambo - Aguas calientes town

After good rest and breakfast, we pick you up from at your selected hotel in Cusco and take you to Poroy train station or Ollantaytambo train station (4hrs or 1 hour 45 minutes ride), This train takes you on one of the most incredible train journeys in the Andes. Following the route of the Urubamba River all the way to the cloud forest that surrounds Machu Picchu you enjoy the beautiful scenery of the high Andes throughout the course of the journey. We also see the Veronica snowcapped mountain on the right side, and the famous Inca Trail trek starting point on the left side. From Pachar the Vilcanota river will be our companion until arrival at Aguas Calientes (2040m / 6692ft), arriving at the Train Station in Aguas calientes where you settle into the selected hotel. Free time to stay in town or enjoy the hot springs (15 Soles pp extra).

Day 02:Aguas Calientes / Machu Picchu / Cusco

After an early breakfast, we take the bus up to Machu Picchu, arriving well before the majority of tourists. You will have a guided tour of the site for two hours, visiting this impressive archaeological site and leads you through all the most important areas, miradors, temples, residences, best spots and all archaeological sites with the insights of your private guide before having a bit of free time and making your way back on the bus to Aguas Calientes in time for some lunch before boarding the afternoon train back to sacred valley then a private transportstion back to Cusco to your selected hotel.

Tickets for huaynapicchu or machupicchu mountain. – For hikers who want to add a climb to Huaynapicchu mountain once you finish the tour at Machu Picchu tour, please let us know far in advance to secure spots… the cost of the ticket is US$ 80.00 pp extra.
